We were shocked upon our return from vacation to read that our dear neighbour Betty, had passed away. We were so very sorry to have missed her funeral. We send our most sincere condolences to her family. We always enjoyed hearing of their successes, across the back fence, as we shared in the joys of each other's lives. She was so very proud of her boys and their families! She was truly an anchor in the neighbourhood, always hosting the "tea" to make sure everyone had the opportunity to socialize together, always marking the comings and goings of our neighbour friends. We all held a special place in her heart and she made sure we knew it. We have such wonderful, fond memories of her. Surely no one could ever have a more endearing neighbour and friend. It is with deepest sympathy that we share her families sadness at the passing of such an amazing woman.
