Peacefully at Mount Hope Long Term Care, on Thursday, April 25, 2019 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Dudley Walker (2008). Loving mother of Ian (Helen), Lena, and Maxine (Michael). Cherished Nana of Clint, Christopher, Philip, Ian and the late Jeffrey. Predeceased by her brother Robert and sister Margaret. Greatly loved by all her family including nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a veteran of WWII serving in the British Land Army and Firewatch Brigade. Helen was known for her love of life and wonderful sense of humour. The family would like to thank the staff members at Mount Hope Long Term Care for their care and compassion. A memorial visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, April 29, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Helen are asked to consider Parkinson Canada or Diabetes Canada.
