On January 14th, 2013 at McCormick Home, Ella, beloved wife of the late James Thomson (1987), dearest mother of Helen Bell (Maurice), and the late Eric Thomson (2002). Loving grandmother to Karen (Richard), Amanda (Rob), Isla (Tom), Tracey (Mike) and Julie. Grandma T to ten great-grandchildren. Much cherished by Jill Bell, Louise Kerr, Mary and Allan Pate. Born in Montrose, Scotland in 1914 Ella came to London at age 73 after the death of her husband, and embraced life to the fullest in Canada. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to celebrate Ella ‘s life will be held at Colborne Street United Church, 711 Colborne Street, London, on Saturday, February 2nd, at 11 a.m. Flowers gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions to Colborne Street United Church or McCormick Home Foundation would be sincerely appreciated.

We were saddened to here of Ella's passing. She will be dearly missed by myself and many of the staff at GWP . Our condolences to the family.

It was such a pleasure knowing her. She always had a smile on her face and we all loved her and no one can take those memmories away !She will be missed.
