To our long-time and very dear friends -- Susie & Don and Gord & Susie and your families. We are so sorry for your loss, but happy that we can share the wonderful memories of your mother. I was fortunate enough to enjoy many beautiful days at the Lake in Beach o' Pines with Susie & her Mom. Love the photo of her at the Beach.

Gord, Susie and family, I'm so very sorry to hear of your Mom Nana and GG's passing. She was no doubt a wonderful lady because her descendants certainly are.

Who could forget Aunt Jeanie? She was my all-time favourite aunt who loved life as much as she loved me. I remember convertibles that she would drive fast enough to experience butterflies as we sailed to Beach o' Pines. I will never forget her belt buckle that said "Bullshit." She was as irreverent as she was whimsical, an endearing trait for all youngsters who had the privilege of being looked after for weeks at a time over summer holidays. Her personality became iconic for me as I lived longer and sadly farther away from life in Grand Bend. She was synonymous with summer at the Bend and all the festivities that season brought to its shores. I will forever miss my Aunt Jeanie but her memories of joy and laughter will live on deep into the Milky Way where her spirit will soar I'm sure. Thank God for Jeanie who kindly suggested some 50 years ago that I might consider changing my underwear every day instead of every other day!

Susie and Gord, I am sorry to learn about your mother. She was a happy, kind lady. When I was in Teachers College I needed to make a collection of pictures to inspire the children to write stories. Jean wanted to help me. So with her permission, when I was babysitting I took the covers off the Saturday Evening Post magazines. Whenever i met her Jean always had a smile and a happy greeting Barbara

Dear Gord & Susie & family. Sympathy to all of you in the passing of your beloved Mother. She was a beautiful Lady!. She led the CGIT group in Grand Bend with my Aunt Ethel over 50 years ago. Once in awhile they would bring their sweet little girls to a meeting & they would keep busy playing at the sand tables, while we went on with our meetings. All your lovely memories will keep her close to you forever. Now she is reunited with her loved ones & what a celebration that will be. Margaret Desjardine
