Emma Mary Dobronyi
May 6, 2019
Passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Parkwood Institute, on Monday, May 6th, 2019, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Alex for 62 years; her best friend and love of her life. Inseparable in life, they are now together again. Loving mother of Tom (Sue), Mark (Philippa), Steve (Christine) and Lynne (Tony). Loving Grandma of Sydney, Isabelle, Thom, Lili, Adam, Chris, Ben, Paul, Alex, Eric, and Great-Grandma of Cameron, Harper and Quinn.
Emma’s life work was her family, her friends and her music. From an early age, she shared her vocal talents by singing with bands, trios and church choirs. She had a special voice that resonated with all who heard her sing. Emma loved spending time with her friends golfing, playing cards and travelling. Our Mom was a gem; kind to all and a great role model of how to be a good person. We cherish memories of her fine meals, her sense of fun and family celebrations. She was a devoted and proud grandmother and great-grandmother.
The family will receive friends at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., with prayers at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment at Holy Family Mausoleum.
