Fil was a great man! I have fond memories of "Dr. Cappa" as a child. He was a great next-door neighbour; always greeting me with a smile when I saw him and asking how my day was going. I happily received a new toothbrush every year at halloween! I think that hearing Fil and his "music buddies" play in their back yard every once in a while had an influence on me choosing to be a professional trombone player. As a founding member of Brassroots, I am so thankful for all his tireless efforts for that group over 3 decades, and indeed his support of music in London in general. RIP Fil. Thanks for being you! Donation will be made to the Ken Hermann Sr. Palliative Care fund via London Community Foundation. (I believe Fil would have approved!)
Our deepest condolences to Diane and family, God Bless.

Hello Dianne, I read Fil's obituary today in the newspaper and so many wonderful memories came flooding back from our days together at St. Aidan's in London. I would like to think that Terry and Fil are enjoying each other's company once again. My love to all the family, A.J. Finlay
I have lost my only brother. He had a very active productive life and will be missed but fondly remembered by all who know him.
Such sad news. Uncle Fil lived a full and wonderful life and gave so much to the community. Barry and I send our sincere condolences. Distance makes it impossible for us to attend the service but know our thoughts are with all of my Aunts and cousins and Uncle Fil's many, many friends at this sad time. He is gone but your memories of him will live on. Wendy and Barry Australia
Dianne and family, we will truly miss Fil at our annual luncheon. He was a loyal and dedicated DDGM, since 1981, and we had so many great times together. All good things, from the 81 ders
Uncle Fil - so sad to hear of your passing. What an amazing life you lived! You brought so much joy and kindness to so many. Thanks for all of the great memories! You will be missed. May God rest your soul. Love Tim
Dr Cappa was our family dentist for years and there is no one else like him. Thorough, gentle and amazing skill. He was also a good and true friend of my own dad Hugh Cree. When my dad died, Dr Cappa would see me out in public and always came over to see how I was and if I needed anything. So genuine and a true gentleman. Rest well sir. You have made the lives of so many others a lot better in all areas of your life

Dianne, we are so sorry to hear of Fil's passing. He wasn't one to sit idly by,,, well noted. His association with the Western Ontario Dental Study Group allowed for many social interactions with his fellow dentists in London and area. We will always have fond memories of the many luncheons and dinners shared with you and Fil when it was "Couples' Time to Dine" for the WODSG. With our sincere condolences to you and all of Fil's family. Carol and Ken
Dear Dianne and Family I was deeply saddened when I read, this morning, of Fil's passing. I am so, so sorry. Fil was a true giant in our profession and he will be sorely missed. It has not been given to many to have made such magnificent contributions both within the profession and to society at large. It is my profound regret that I have an out-of-town commitment, from Friday until Tuesday and, therefore, am unable to attend the service planned for Saturday. Please accept my most profound and heartfelt sympathy. As a tribute to Fil, I am making a donation to Mission Services of London, an agency which enormously benefited from Fil's dedicated involvement for so many years.
Dear Dianne, sending you & your family my condolences in the loss of your husband. Pleased that I met & chatted with him on your visits to me at the hair salon. Wishing you peace & strength in these days ahead.
