Of London, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Forrest was born on September 22, 1933 in Sulphide, ON, to Lee and Helen (Tucker) Credicott. “Red” was a lifelong sheet metal worker, proudly serving LU 30 and LU 473 for more than 63 years. He married the love of his life, Elsie Daku, and together they celebrated 46 years of blessed marriage before Elsie’s passing in 2010. Forrest and Elsie are together again. Dad made it just in time to celebrate the New Year – what a party that must have been! They will be forever loved and missed by their children, Lee Credicott (Della) and Denise Jackson (Kim), and their 3 grandchildren, Jennifer, Craig and William. Forrest will be fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was a kind, caring and generous man who was always ready to lend a helping hand. Forrest especially enjoyed get-togethers with family and friends. Special thanks to the many caregivers who provided Dad with excellent care, allowing us to fulfill his wish to stay at home. Cremation has taken place. Private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the charity of your choice.

We will never forgot all the great times we all had together. Playing cards, being at the arena, trips, kids sleepovers and many more. We will always value and cherish all these memories and the friendshp we had with your parents. Never will look at a pack of Big Red gum the same!!! Love always George, Karen, Roy and Dee-Ann

Denise, Lee and Family: So very sorry to hear of Uncle Forrests passing. Losing a family member is always difficult. As I sit writing this message, I can still hear Uncle Forrests infectious laugh and I can see his loving smile. He had a heart of gold and was such a kind man. I am so grateful to have had him as a part of our family. I will always remember and forever cherish the back yard barbecues with his amazing corn on the cob! They were always filled with many laughs. I know that smile of his is beaming ear to ear as he is now reunited with Aunt Elsie. He will be missed dearly. Love to all â¤

There are so many memories of all our get togethers. Uncle always had a smile on his face and a hearty laugh. And of course the GOOD food. I used to love it when everyone would come over to play cards or we would go to London growing up. He would always take the time to ask how I was... "How are ya doin' kiddo?" Denise, Lee and Family: A farewell to my Uncle Forrest ... Although I'm sad to say goodbye to you, I'm happy you are now reunited with Aunt Elsie, your soulmate in life and beyond. I'm so grateful that I got to share so many wonderful years with you. To me you are the embodiment of family, always welcoming, generous, kind and inclusive for all. You made time for friends, family and strangers alike, with always a cheerful greeting and an offer to help if needed. I watched as you and Aunt Elsie raised your two children and welcomed your grandchildren into the family. You were blessed with a beautiful family and a joyful life. You became a wonderful addition to the Daku family as well. We celebrated many special occasions together with my Mom & Steve and I will always fondly remember our many card games and your backyard BBQ's in London. Denise, Lee & family. Forrest & Elsie were our good friends & neighbours for many years on Tilipe Road. He was always friendly to our family, providing fresh treats from his garden, along with tips for preparing Swiss Chard! Forrest was very proud of his children & grandchildren as was Elsie. May he rest in peace after a life of hard work & great joy. He will be missed by all of us. Love & prayers to all of you.

Im so happy that he is now out of pain and with Elsie but very sad for those of us he left behind. Prayers are with all of you . He touched the hearts of many and will be deeply missed. Love to all, Jackie
