Passed peacefully surrounded by family, on Friday, July 24, 2020, at peopleCare Oakcrossing, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Raymond D. Niemi for 65 years. Cherished mother of Don Niemi, Sandra Bernardo (late Luigi), Chris Niemi, Kim Pucci (Dave) and Liisa Zikman (William). Proud Nana of Tiina Niemi (Ron), Pamela Sanderson (Craig), Angela Ross (Jason), Kristie Niemi (Michael), Carrie Niemi (Clint), Amanda Koogleman (Jesse), Brandon Niemi, Jason Pucci (Ashley), Allyssa Pucci (Brett), Kaitlynd Zikman (Chad) and Chelsey Zikman-McKeachnie (Dustin). Great-grandmother of Noah, Gabriel, Adora, Asher and Charlotte. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Fran and Ray will be held in Sault Ste. Marie once COVID-19 restrictions have lifted. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Fran are asked to consider Mission Services of London.
