Frances Jean (nee Henry) Postowoj
October 13, 2016
It is with great sadness and sorrow to announce the passing of Frances at the age of 56 on Thursday, October 13th, 2016 at peopleCare Oakcrossing, London, where she resided for the last 6 1/2 years. Beyond professional care, compassion and kindness by everyone at peopleCare, Fran developed special friendships with so many that greatly enhanced her quality of life. Frances fought a courageous and long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born in Chatham, Ontario, to the late Tom Henry (1999) and Kathryn (Winton) Henry. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband David Postowoj, her dear mother Kathryn, brother Don (Lori), nephew Evan, niece Leah, sister Janet Henry (Phil King), nephew Matthew Helsby, niece Brittany Everett (Brock) and great-nephew Cameron. She will also be dearly missed by her brother-in-law Alex Postowoj, sister-in-law Karen Postowoj (Jon Bondarczuk) and her children James and Kayla, sister-in-law Larissa Kurucz (Larry) and their children Nikolai, Tatyana and Sacha, sister-in-law Margaret Postowoj and nephew Neil Postowoj (Katherine). Lovingly remembered by her special aunt Agnes Revington, uncle Alex Henry (Yvonne) and many dear cousins. A special acknowledgment of gratitude goes out to Shirley Antille for her love, support and care over many years. In keeping with Fran’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at HIGHLAND COUNTRY CLUB, 1922 Highland Heights, London, on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada – London/Middlesex Chapter (mssociety.donorportal.ca) in memory of Fran. Included in Fran’s wishes will be a legacy donation to be made in her honour to the MS Clinic at L.H.S.C. for providing over 25 years of ongoing health management, world renowned clinical research and a never-ending determination to end the devastation of MS.

David and Kathryn and family I met Fran years ago as she visited our family in Bayfield at the cottage. She and my sister Lynda were so funny together and to know that they are beautiful angels "hanging out" again brings peace to my heart. With deepest sympathy.
