I first met Fran when I was new to London 16 years ago.. I did not have any family here nor did I know anyone.. I was introduced to Fran by the Pastor of our new church.. she quickly became our new family.. she babysat my boys when I worked.. joined us for many family meals and events.. as the years passed we only became closer.. she would help me in the kitchen for Coffee hour, with Sunday school... sitting on Church Council together.. enjoying many Amobile concerts together .. maple syrup breakfast at the pancake house... our many games of scrabble... sharing recipes.. the list goes on... I am making a pot of one of her favorite soups right now.. potato leek.. we would always share.. she made the best cookies in the whole world.. no one can replace you in my life...ever...I love you....

To Fran's family; Please accept my sincere sympathies on the loss of your dear Mother/Grandmother. She was my Mom's neighbour at the Gainsborough & I had the honour of seeing her numerous times. She was a gracious ,giving neighbour! I can still see her handwritten notes, in her tiny fine script, that she often slipped under Mom's door, many times accompanied by homemade soup or yummy muffins. My thoughts are with you, Jill (Drysdale) Geiger
