Heartfelt sympathy to the Cauchi family on the passing of Mr. Cauchi. Mr. Cauchi was my drafting teacher in Grade 9 at Westminster Secondary School in the early '70's. I always regarded him as a kind and thoughtful man; who taught me a lot about drafting. I use some of the skills he taught me to this day!!! A few years ago I bumped into Mr. Cauchi at the Huron Country Playhouse in Grand Bend. He looked the same as when I was in Grade 9!!! Still the kind and thoughtful man I knew from the past. May God bless the Cauchi family!! Ross Cordell Grand Bend

Mr. Cauchi (call me Frank) was my most memorable teacher from high school at Westminster. His stories and simple anecotes about life come back to me from time to time even now, almost 40 years later. Thank you Frank for your inspiration and direction.

My sincerest and heartfelt condolences to the entire Cauchi family at the loss of such a genuine, hard working and compassionate man. I had the great fortune to have Frank as my Design and Draftimg teacher at Westminster S.S. I'm sure that teaching a class full of 20 or so boisterous teenagers wasn't an easy task... but... when things got too loud Frank would always turn down his hearing aid while we worked, so that he could get a little solice. If we were good, he would let us play our tapes in the tape player and sometime we would even listen to his polka tapes. His class was one that I truly looked forward to. I can honestly say that Frank had a great impact on me and I still think fondly about our short time together. He loved to make light of his own name when he would say... "Can I be Frank with you"? He would chuckle and then follow up by saying "that's a little joke in dere because my name is Frank!... righhhtt!" This still makes me smile when I remember it, maybe even more so now that I understand and distribute my own brand of Dad humor. TO MR CAUCHI (Frank as you wanted us all to call you): Rest in peace my friend... you set a great example of how life is to be lived... and you you did it by living your example. That is the best anyone could hope to pass along... especially to a room of 20 or so boisterous teenagers.
