Peacefully with his wife by his side, on Sunday, February 4th, 2024, Garth passed at Victoria Hospital in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Cathy (née Nelligan) for 43 years. Loving father of Jessica Lammers (Brent) and Jacob Reeves (Soo). Adored grandfather to Joshua, James and Nathan. Brother of Edward (Myrna). He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Neva and Clarence and siblings Lillian (Mike), Pauline (Len), Georgina (Billy) and Alan.
Garth was an employee with CRA for 31 years, an avid golfer at Thames Valley G.C. and a guitarist in the band “The Mudders”. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time outdoors with family and friends. He will be remembered for his quick-wit, calming nature and kindness.
Garth’s family wishes to thank the numerous caregivers with Cheshire Independent Living Services, the Palliative Care team at Victoria Hospital and Home Community Care for their compassion and excellent services, as well as their many family and friends who helped them through this journey.
Cremation has taken place. An evening visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. George Parish, 1164 Commissioners Road West, London, on Friday, February 9, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to donate in memory of Garth are asked to consider Cheshire Independent Living Services, or LHSF – PSP Research.

So very sorry to hear of Garth’s passing. Lots of great Memories of Times in South Freetown with The Reeves Clan at Mom and Dad’s (Everett and Margaret Reeves) house. Dear Cathy and family, I was so sorry to hear about Garth’s passing. He was such a unique person with so many talents. Cathy and family, Darrin and I are so sorry for your loss. Uncle Garth was a very kind and gentle man. We have some very special memories to cherish. From singing and playing the guitar our wedding for which we are so grateful for. Adam and Josh will always remember him playing music and looking up to the sky at night looking for satellites. My condolences to Cathy and family. So sad to hear of the loss of Garth. So many great memories of family get togethers. He was always so great with kids and kids loved hearing him play guitar and singing for them. A golfing buddy, a fellow "Mudder" , a friend. A big humble man who displayed grace, dignity and courage. The first day I golfed with Garth over 20 years ago, I came home and told my wife Debbie, "I met the nicest guy today!" That never changed. Rest in peace Garth, I will miss you. I send my thoughts and love to Cathy, Jessica, Jake.

Sorry to hear of Garth's passing, my condolences to Kathy and his family. I went to UPEI with Garth and worked at CRA with him for several years. Always a fun and easy going guy that was a pleasure to be with. My father was friends with his older brother in PEI. May he rest in peace.

We feel privileged to have known Garth as a kind, gentle, loving and caring soul, with a keen wit and uncanny sense of humour. A genuine grace and dignity pervaded Garth's every day. News arrived today on the East Coast, Charlottetown, that Garth has passed. Cathy, I am sorry for the loss of your life partner. I met Garth at UPEI and became life long friends. Many golf games and late nights
