George Almond

Peacefully at University Hospital, London, on Saturday, April 5, 2014, George Almond, formerly of Montreal, in his 87th year.  Predeceased by his wife Joan (2009) and son David (2007).  Cherished and dearly missed by his daughter-in-law Nancy, grandchildren Steve (Shannon), Kelly (Corey), Mike (Jenn), Jeff (Steph) and great grandchildren Lily and Haylee.  Cremation has taken place.  A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

To Nancy and family, George and Joan were an enormous part of my life....I looked to them for guidance and comfort throughout my life.Not a single day goes by without thinking of them and how lucky I was .With Georges passing he is now back with Joan having a cup of tea and enjoying the view of their wonderful family.
