Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 6th, 2019, at Meadow Park Long Term Care, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Annie (2010). Loving father of Patricia Cook (Donald), of London, and Marney Gyssels (Joe), of Chatham. Dear ‘Papa George’ of Meghan McDonald (John), Derek Gyssels (Stephanie), Dayna Austin (J.R.), Philip Cook, Miranda Edye and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Cremation and private family interment of Annie and George’s ashes will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. A Celebration of George’s Life will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, July 20th, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with words of remembrance at 1:30 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of George are asked to consider The War Amps or Diabetes Canada.

George left an imprint that touched all his neighbors hearts. He had a wonderful sense of humor that we all shared. He will be dearly missed. God Bless and guide all of you through your healing process.
