Peacefully, and surrounded by his family, on Friday, September 29th, 2017 at the McCormick Home, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Denise Gibson for 58 years. Loving father of George (Nicki) Gibson and Debbie (Gary) Dorman. Loving grandfather to Michelle (Andrew), Nicole, Aaron (Corri) and Sara. George was a longtime employee of Bell Canada for 35 years, and an active member of the ‘Bell Pioneers’. The family extends a special ‘thank you’ to all the McCormick staff for their wonderful care. There will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of George are asked to consider Mission Services of London.
