On Sunday, April 3rd, 2016, at peopleCare Oakcrossing, Mr. Gerald L. Elliott, of London, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Evelyn L. (Pressey) Elliott. Loving father of Teresa Elliott, Nancy Elliott (Mark Speers) and Thomas Elliott. Also loved by his grandchildren: Marcia, Ryan, Michael, and Matthew; and by his great-grandchildren: Jayden and Tristan. Dear brother-in-law of Barbara. Predeceased by his siblings Lloyd Elliott (Jean), Ruby Powell, and Ronald Elliott. The funeral will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Wednesday, April 6th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment in Medway Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Gerald are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society, London and Middlesex.

Evelyn and family: My family were neighbours with the Elliott family several years ago in London Township. We attended school together and Community events. Time has gone by and it is a long time since I have seen Gerald. There are not many left that attended S.S. # 12 at the corner of the 9th concession and Highbury Ave. Sending sincere sympathy to Evelyn and her family at this sad time in their lives. I enjoyed my time caring for Mr. Elliott at PeopleCare. He had an engaging smile that was always at the ready. He will be missed by those of us who were fortunate enough to know him. May God bless his family and friends. May they find the peace that passes all understanding.
