Passed away peacefully at University Hospital, on Sunday, August 9, 2020, in her 91st year. Loving wife of Arthur McNaughton for 61 years. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Robert ‘Bob’ & Lavina McEwen; siblings: Perce, Donald, Arthur, John and Shirley; sister-in-law, Hazel; and brothers-in-law Harold and Earl. Gertie worked for many years at O-Pee-Chee bubble gum factory. She lovingly cared for her mother, Lavina, and her mother-in-law, Jennie, in their later years. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Gertie are asked to consider a charity of their choice.

I'm so sorry Uncle Art! Aunt Gert was an "Amazing Lady"! I was very privileged to have such a "Wonderful Aunt"! We all love & miss her dearly! Aunt Gert was a beautiful person. . I wish I could of seen her more often . . Great times . Around the dinner table and fun times . Love her and going to be missed .
