Glenna Doreen Weston

July 18, 2021

Passed away at Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care, on Sunday, July 18, 2021, in her 88th year. Predeceased by her parents, Wellington and May Weston; her brother Gordon (Lachlene); her sister, Donna; and her great-niece Brittany. She will be dearly missed and remembered with love by her remaining family: Kim and David Cechetto; Ila Weston and Colt Davis; Luke and Clarisse Cechetto, Noah and Jesse; Naomi Cechetto and Neal MacInnes. Glenna was a determined, devoted woman who loved and served God and her family faithfully. A 45-year employee of “the Bell”, she never missed a day of work. Her stoic positivity persisted to the final hours of her life on Earth. Sincere thanks to the staff of Marian Villa – 5th floor, and to Dr. Craig and Dr. Kling for their kind and compassionate care over the past 18 months. We take comfort in knowing that Glenna is at peace with her Saviour, in the place that He has prepared for her eternally. Family and friends are invited to gather for a graveside farewell to Glenna on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Kintore Presbyterian Cemetery, 842890 Road 84, Kintore, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Glenna are asked to consider Mission Services of London.

Glenna, or "Miss Weston" as I called her at Bell, was my very favourite supervisors. She was always kind and treated everyone with such respect. She never spoke an unkind word about anyone. She was very devoted to her job. God bless you. Well done, good and faithful servant. Matthew 25:21

My deepest condolences, Kim and Dave and family. With Donna gone and now Glenna, there'll be a big hole on your heart. I know how special they both were in your life and you in theirs. May you feel surrounded by love and peace at this time.
