Gloria June Campbell
August 4, 1936 - November 24, 2025
FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS
Gloria June Campbell was born August 4, 1936 to Earl Steinhoff and Dorothy Atkinson in Sarnia, Ontario. She was the beloved youngest child, cherished deeply by her parents. Her older baby brother sadly passed shortly after birth.
In her younger years she embraced her faith and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
This “city girl” met a mild, kind “country boy,” Neil Campbell, at a dance — the start of a lifelong love. They were married on November 7, 1959 and built their life together in Komoka, Mount Brydges, and London.
June and Neil raised four children — Glenn (Jenny), Larry, Donald (Dawn), and Lisa (Gord); surrounding them with love, spiritual values, and strong family bonds. She later became a grandmother to Amanda, Aaron, Seth (Alyssa), Brooke, Rylee (Hayden), and Gavin, and a great-grandmother to Claire and Delia.
Since childhood, June loved baby dolls, and she continued to treasure them throughout her life. She found joy in caring for others, cooking for her family, baking pies and creating a warm, beautiful home with her natural eye for interior design. She also loved knitting and made many handmade items for her children and grandchildren, each crafted with love.
June was known for her kindness, gentleness, and devotion to her family. She shared close relationships with her children and grandchildren, cherishing deep conversations about life and Jehovah’s thoughts on things. She always put Jehovah first, finding comfort and strength in her faith.
June passed away on November 24, 2025 at Extendicare in London, Ontario, surrounded by caring staff devoted to her well-being.
She will be deeply missed. Her family holds close the hope of seeing her again in the new world through God’s promise of the resurrection.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Extendicare London for their kindness, patience, and genuine care for June. Their compassion brought great comfort to her and all the family.
As per June’s wishes, a private family service will be held at the Komoka Campbell Cemetery.
November 21, who would have thought that would be our last visit with you. Thank you for the laughter, the conversations, and the moments that made life brighter. May your soul find eternal peace in God’s embrace. Your life was a blessing, and your memory a treasure.
