So sorry for your loss, Bev. I only knew your mother from a couple of brief meetings with her and my mother. In that short time, she seemed like a wonderful woman, full of life. May God comfort you and yours, now and in the future. King
What a wonderful gift to have had a loving Mom for such a long time. We know it's heartbreaking to loose her but celebrate a life full of joy that has been lovingly involved with her family. You were her gifts growing up, both children and grandchildren. Bless you all as you say goodbye to Golda, a life well lived. Love,Tony and Wendy
Ken, my condolences to your family. I wasn't lucky enough to know your mother, but am pleased to know you and your generous and kind spirit. I'm sure that your mother was a big part of that and must have been a wonderful person. Her memory will live on through the kind actions and giving nature of her children.
Our thoughts are with you, what a wonderful life she had and great family. Love, Ted, Mir and family.
Dear Bev and family, sorry to hear of Golda's passing. It was an honour to meet and get to know her. What a wonderful lady. Our thoughts are with you at this time of sorrow.
Dear Bev, Ken and families. My thoughts are with you and yours at the loss of your Mom. My mom, Marge and Goldi were BFF's for their adult life. The laughing fits then would get in would fill the house. Your Mom sewed my wedding cape oh so long ago. I was just looking at a picture I have of my Dad and your Mom standing outside the bakery shop near Luxemburg when they both were in Nova Scotia. She had a warm glow all about her and could make you smile seeing all your problems as 'no biggy' She truly enriched all who knew her.
Dear Bev and David, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I only knew Golda for a short time however I will remember her sense of humour and wonderful smile. May God comfort and bless you during this time in your lives.
Bev and Ken sorry for your loss.My thoughts are with you.She was a wonderful lady.
To the "Potts" family...Your Mom, and grandmother, was a wonderful lady who had an infectious laugh and could make anyone feel comfortable in any setting. Our mother Marge and her were great friends and as a result of that friendship our friendship grew with Bev and Ken. I remember trips to London to visit and go to Storybook Park which was a highlight for me growing up. I know that you will be facing some difficult days ahead, but try to relish in the memories of your Mom and the knowledge that she is at rest. The obituary appeared in the Chronicle Herald (Halifax) this am and I have placed it in the family bible beside my Mom's. Remember to take care of yourselves and each other, in the days to come. Judy
