Gordon Conti

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Gordon Conti on Wednesday, August 26^th 2026, in his 93^rd year, surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital. Survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Verna Conti; children Lawrence (Donna), Paul, Nancy and Debbie (Paul); grandchildren Sarah (Chris), Shannon, Noah (Courtney), Benjamin, Joshua (Kate), William, Samuel (Carissa), Sarah (Bob), and Ryan (Salina); great-grandchildren, Curtis, Naomi, Sarena, Piper, Grace, Spencer and Riley.

Gord retired after a successful career with Menswear Clothing, but he continued to stay busy through his work at the Men’s Mission well into his 70s. He was a devoted and active member of the Salvation Army London Citadel, where he found community and purpose. Gord cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him great joy. Like a true sports fan, he never missed a Jay’s game.

The family wish to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Victoria Hospital for their great compassionate care for Gord.

In keeping with his wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Westview Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held.
