A resident of London, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2014, at University Hospital, at the age of 53. Beloved partner of 31 years to Jack Klopper. Predeceased by his mother Helen Crighton (née Martin) and survived by his father, Jim Crighton. Wonderful brother and brother-in-law to Clifford and Gertie Crighton, Randy and Lyla Crighton and Marty and Sheila Crighton. Much-loved uncle of Jason and Arielle Crighton (Vancouver), Lee Crighton (Vancouver) and Jordan Crighton (Sudbury). Gord blessed family and friends with his unique sense of humour, his willingness to always lend a hand and his giving heart. Special thanks to the 8th floor doctors, nurses and staff of University Hospital: your compassion, professionalism and dedication are second-to-none and appreciated by all. Gord’s wishes were to be cremated followed by a Celebration of Life which will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Gordon to the Humane Society, the Arthritis Society, Animalert or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.

This all happened so fast and it's hard to believe you are gone. I'm sorry I didn't get to see you before you pasted or even say a final goodbye but I have been told you're in a better place now. You will be greatly missed Uncle Gord and I know you will be watching over all of us. I love you and rest in peace.
Jack: It has been years since I last saw or spoke with you both, but you were often in my thoughts. I am deeply saddened to hear of Gord's passing; he was such a lovely man. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
My deepest sympathy to Gord's family and friends. Gord was a co-worker for many years and although we didn't work at the same location but whenever we met or talk over the phone he was very very helpful and humorous. May he rest in peace.

To Gord's family: My sincere condolences to you all. I was a colleague of Gord's and often ran into him at Cobble Hills on a sunny day enjoying the game. I will always remember his easy shy smile and friendly greetings. May your memories of happier times sustain you through this difficult time.
Jack and Crighton family, I had the pleasure of working with Gord on and off over 28 years. His infectious smile and laughter will be missed. My deepest sympathies.

Will miss you brother....your laugh was infectious and sense of humor irreplaceable. Every outing was an adventure with you guys. Our weekly Sunday calls were part of our routine but I will sit here and talk to you in hopes your listening. Rest peacefully Gord and know you were loved and will be missed.
