Peacefully, surrounded by family, at University Hospital, London, on Thursday, September 6, 2012, Gordon Freeman Farrow, in his 93rd year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Edna Farrow (2011). Loving father of Carol (Tony) Franze, Sandi Gilhula, Patricia Gorman and Trudy (Stephen) Ferry. Devoted grandfather of Steven (Kim) Franze, Rick Franze, Toni (Bruce) Killian, Jessica and Scott Gilhula, Christopher (Janet) Gorman, David (Debbie) Gorman and Dane Ferry. Cherished great-grampa of Blake and Brady Killian, Graysen and Matthew Franze, and Cole Gorman. Predeceased by his parents Edna and Freeman Farrow, sister Beatrice (Abe) Dean and cousin Dorothy Burton. Sincere thanks to the doctors and staff of the 5th floor Cardiac Care Unit at University Hospital. A service will be held at Mount Zion United Church, 471 Ridgewood Crescent, London, on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour before the service, 1:00-2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mount Zion United Church, in memory of Mr. Gordon Farrow.

Sandy and Pat and family, My thoughts are with you today. Sincere condolences on the passing of your father, and belatedly, your mother. Looks like they both lived long lives and were blessed with the love of a large and growing family. I imagine Gordon was the #1 fan of Edna's pickled cherries. Jim Durham
I have known both Gord and Edna since their admission to RRR, It has been my pleasure to care for them and more recently for Gord. His gently soul and warm smile will me missed. God Bless you and keep you both together for all eternity.
