Heather Elizabeth Hardy

May 13, 2022

Peacefully with family by her side, on Friday, May 13, 2022 at University Hospital, London, Heather Hardy passed away at the age of 58. Hardy is survived by her devoted husband of 10 years, Ron Mulchinock. Loving mother of Bobby, Murphy, Ronnie, TJ, Tony, Steven and Julie. Cherished sister to Tammy McGrady and Nancy Lamothe. Beloved grandmother to several grandkids and great-grandkids. Adored by many close friends. Held dear by the friends of her sons that she considered her own children and had informally adopted, and her beloved dogs: Pumpkin, Pearl and Charlie. Heather was a very welcoming, happy, and thoughtful individual that always tried to go out of her way to help her family, friends, and those in need. She loved to dance with her husband, go on sporadic road trips, and spend nights at home cuddled up to her dogs. One of the events that made her the happiest was when her children’s friends would come to visit and she was able to supply food and lodging for as long as they needed – it always brought a smile to her face when she could mother. Cremation has taken place. A visitation to pay your respects will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Heather are asked to consider PFLAG London ON Chapter.

Oh, this is sad news indeed. I am so sorry for her family. I enjoyed working with Heather at Bell Canada in the early 80s and then again in the early 2000s. What a girl. What a spirit!

A donation has been made. Message from the donator: Heather was always extremely kind and welcoming. She went out of her way on more than one occasion to help us when we needed it. Her home was always open, no matter the time or occasion, and food was always made available. She truly did put others before herself, and she will be greatly missed. Thank you for everything Heather.

A donation has been made to PFLAG, London Ontario Chapter. Message from the donator: I only knew Heather for two years but I considered her a good friend. We always laughed a lot when on the phone with each other. And when we met in Milton last year, to pick up three-pound Holly from her and Ron it was so good to see her again. We had a few tears and laughs. I first met Heather when I bought our brown Yorkie pup, Harley. She loved her puppies. She was a kind, funny and loving beautiful soul. I will miss her. Thoughts and prayers for Ron and family.

Heather will be greatly missed by all the staff at triOS College who have gotten to know her well over the years. She was always on a mission to make clients, students and her coworkers smile and laugh. Heather was known for always helping others and we appreciated that so much.
