Heather Lynn Cooper

October 30, 2023

Heather Lynn Cooper, a loving daughter, devoted spouse, and a cherished mother, has left a void in all our hearts as she transitioned to eternal peace on Monday, October 30, 2023. Raised by Joy Elizabeth (née Broom) and the late Carl Eldon Cooper. Heather’s light brought immense joy, happiness and a spark to all who know her. Although we are mourning her passing, she lit up every room she walked into, and we take peace knowing she will brighten up heaven on her arrival as she is celebrated by the angels with their newest member.

Heather’s greatest joy and achievement was motherhood. She poured her heart and soul into raising her children, Kyra Monica Joy and Karissa Emily Pol, with John Fredrick Pol, making sure their lives were filled with endless love and affection. Heather cherished every moment spent with them, creating countless beautiful memories that will forever be treasured. As a mother, she tirelessly offered guidance, support, and unconditional love, ensuring her children grew into the best versions of themselves.

Heather’s magnetic presence was felt in every aspect of her life. Her unwavering love for her family breathed life into their existence. As a common-law spouse to Rick Weishar, she brought warmth and happiness to their journey together. Their love created a foundation built on trust, understanding, and an unbreakable bond, which will continue to inspire those around them. Heather’s love extended not only to her own children, but also to Rick’s children, Owen and Dede Weishar.

The Cumberland Laser Clinic became a beacon of hope and healing under Heather’s care. Heather radiated an infectious enthusiasm for her work and, through her genuine care, as she helped instill confidence and self-love in countless individuals. Heather had a unique gift for uplifting spirits and making people feel good about themselves. Whether it was a simple smile, a comforting word, or her expert touch, she had an uncanny ability to bring warmth and joy to those who sought her services. Heather not only transformed physical appearances but also rejuvenated the spirits of her clients.

You will be missed by many!

I started seeing Heather at Cumberland two years ago. Leaving out the details, I had my own struggles even getting into the clinic to participate in the treatment that I needed for health reasons. Without fail every single time Heather was there to hold my hand and take the time to get me through the experience. I saw her in early October and we had a great deep conversation about our own personal journeys. She was so welcoming and lovely always! I didn't get a chance to know her as well as the rest of you but gosh darn, I won't ever forget her. She embodied integrity, truth an kindness. Thoughts and hugs and warmth to everyone grieving this beautiful human. ❤️

Heather was an amazing woman. She brought warmth, love and life to everyone she met. She cared and loved for her daughters more than humanly possible, but that was only possible because of how big and strong of a heart she had. I feel so grateful to have gotten the opportunity of meeting her, and making many memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. I'm so sorry that she was so cruelly taken before her time. Her legacy will live on through her daughters who share the same glow and attention grabbing aurora that Heather had. May you rest in peace.

Heather was a HUGE ray of light at the YMCA and never ever had a bad bone in her body. I will always remember Heather as someone who had such an infectious energy and a very giving personality, her clients loved her and I know the staff did too. To the family, it was a true pleasure getting to know all of you. Thank you for teaching me two of the most valuable lessons in life, never apologize for being yourself, and to always always choose kindness. Sending lots of love to you all and my condolences

Joy, Kyra, Karissa and Rick I met Heather at Cumberland and indeed she made me look and feel beautiful! We would pick up where we left off and we would talk about you girls, and our love lives which included how kind and caring you are Rick and other things that were occurring in our lives (buying homes and seafood meals). As you all know, she made a difference; she made you smile and laugh, and you would leave feeling better after speaking with her, she was beautiful inside and out. I am not a person who is a "hugger" but I sure am glad we always hugged goodbye! I am so very sorry for your loss! I too will miss her tremendously! Until we meet again Heather!

I was so fortunate to work with Heather for over a year at the YMCA. I was instantly drawn to her energy, warmth and down to earth personality the moment I met her and knew I had to have her on our Fitness team. Her clients and the members in her classes raved about her vast fitness knowledge and her fun approach to wellness. I have had countless people tell me how much Heather helped them both physically and mentally. She was a true gift and will be so greatly missed by her YMCA family. Sending my love and condolences.

Heather was my friend and music teacher .during our youth at Bethal Tabernacle church . She allows gravitated to strays and outcasts like me to make us feel loved and wanted . We shared the love of music together . Until time and life drew us apart . I hope she is with Jesus blowing the horns of Zion , I hope to join her one day so we can play together once again This world is alittle colder now without her here . R.I.P my friend until we meet again .

John, Kyra, Karissa and Joy, What sad news this is. Sadly, we lost touch with Heather quite a few years ago. When we knew her she was such a bright light: charming with a sprinkle of sass. I remember when Heather and John came to our house to teach Rick how to highlight my hair. We were laughing so hard, it's a surprise the hair turned out at all. Heather was a warm and generous host, so good at bringing people together - the Christmas parties and pig roasts - so many laughs. I also remember when I was in hospital struggling with symptoms that the doctors hadn't sorted out. When Heather visited me, she figured out the problem and went straight to the nurse's desk to give them her thoughts. She was right (and may have saved my life). Kyra and Karissa, you won't remember us, but I remember when you were born. Your mom was so proud and excited. She loved you girls so much. We will be thinking of you in the next difficult days and as you move forward. Wishing you God's peace and comfort in your memories.

IHeather treated me at Cumberland. Not only did she dramatically improve my skin and my self esteem, she went way above and beyond talking to me, caring about me and lovingly supporting me with some personal issues id talk about during my appts with her. She helped me more than she knew.. An undeniably genuine loving caring soul. I'll miss you.
