Heino worked with my father for 22 years. He became very close to us over the years and always had time for my brother and I. He was never short of a joke or two and could easily put a smile on your face. He will be greatly missed.

I met Heino when I started with Homestead in 1999. He could always put a smile on my face and was there for me when I needed help. When I was pregnant (a difficult time for me) with my son he used to jokingly suggest that Heino was a good name for a boy. Though I named him Devin he always asked about "little Heino" (who is now 15). He had a great heart and will be missed by all who knew him. My sincerest condolences to his family.

I Meet Heino working at royal oak 2011. But I knew of him from my time working with old oak. He was a great friend, coworker, mentor and some ways a grandfather to me because he took the time to show me and inparted his wisdom to me. I will miss our weekly calls , his jokes and his advice. I will also miss teasing him about German engineering :). My wished go out to Vicky and the rest of his family, he spoke of you guys so highly and with pride all the time.
