With great strength and humility, Heinz passed away at his residence on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Heinz was born in Emmerich, Germany in 1930. Until the day he died, the greatest love of his life remained his wife, Marlene (2004). Much loved and respected father of Rob (Catherine), Norm (Angela), Ron (Manuela). Lovingly remembered by his sister, Christel. Predeceased by his sister, Ilse and brother, Robbie. He adored his grandchildren, Robbie (Tracy), Brian (Meghan), Kristina, Jennifer, Kevin (Myriam), and Stephen (Julienne). He fell in love over and over again with the arrival of each of his great-grandchildren, Robert, Caylee, Jayden, Emma, Brandon, Camile and Eve. Heinz was a passionate family man to his core. A quiet man with a massive presence, he was the heart and center of our family. To the good-hearted people at Country Terrace in Komoka, you know of whom we speak, our deepest thanks to each of you. Your level of care and compassion will be long remembered. At Heinz’s request, there will be a private family memorial and interment.
