Peacefully on September 30, 2014 at McCormick Home in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Allen. Loving mother of Chuck (Carol), John (Cathy), and Tim (Cindy). Much loved grandmother to Nicole (Jenn), Andrea (Karen), Laura, Brad (Jennifer), Melissa, Hilary, Kayla, Ashlyn and great-grandmother of Claire. Predeceased by her brother Alfred Goodman and sister Marjorie Peterson. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7:00 -9:00 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the funeral service being conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Friday, October 3rd, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Interment, St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Helen are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
