Peacefully and surrounded by his family, at his residence, on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the age of 95. Cherished husband of the late Maureen (née O’Farrell) (July 1998). Mr. Barlow was my math teacher in the late seventies, some of my fondest memories of school were in his class. He made learning fun for a subject that until then I disliked. My condolences to the family.

Mr. Barlow was my teacher. What a fantastic teacher he was. It was because of teachers like him that I learned to love learning. Thank you Mr. Barlow. God Bless.

So sad to hear about the passing of Henry. Henry was a very good friend of my uncle Rudy Specht. They taught for many years together at Beal. My thoughts are with your family.

Henry and his late wife Maureen were loved very deeply by my family. I was a witness to their marriage in ? Wollongong (New South Wales) all those years ago. My late husband John (who was Maureen's brother) gave her away to Henry while Maureen and John's sister Joan was Maureen's bridesmaid. What a happy affair it was and we all know now it was a match made in Heaven. Dear Henry, Rest in Peace.

~ KAY O'FARRELL (Melbourne Australia)

Grandpa loved his 5 grandchildren. This was at his 90th birthday party.

Was a joy to know him, such a sweet man. Had the pleasure of working alongside Mr. Barlow as an advisor with our Student's Council, for a few years at H.B Beal Secondary * Including a photo Bridget Cairns 🙂

Henry, Maureen, Warren and Jen welcomed our family with open arms when we moved into the Oakridge neighbourhood just down the street where they lived. Through the many years our families shared many wonderful meals and evenings together. Henry was always the gracious host sharing many stories, usually funny, of travels in Australia and elsewhere. Our sincere condolences to all the family. Our thoughts are with you all at this sad time.

Mr. Barlow was my math teacher at H.B. Beal. I enjoyed his sense of humour as well as his enthusiasm when explaining the various concepts. I am sorry for your loss.
