Iolanthe ‘Irene’ (née Searle) McDonald

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at Elmwood Place Long Term Care Home, at the age of 96. Irene was the loving wife of the late Wilfred McDonald. Loving mother of Patricia Newman (John), Marie Channer (late Darcy), Susan Matthews (Mark), and Catherine McDonald (Barry). Grandmother of Chris Newman, Andrew Channer, Steven and Michele Matthews, and Emma Hobbs. Great-grandmother of Jamie Newman. Cremation has taken place. Interment was held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Irene are asked to consider Parkwood Institute where Irene was a volunteer for many years.
