Irene Baratta

BARATTA, Irene (nee Barr) – Peacefully in her sleep on January 22nd, 2013 at McCormick Home.  Irene was born in Ingersoll. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Nick (1998), her parents, May (1992) and Frank (1973), brothers Wib (2001) and Harold (2007) and by her sister Shirley (2010). Dear mother of David (Diane) of Kerwood, Donna (Chris) Feeney, and John all of London. Loving grandmother of Michelle (James) of London, Mark (Kristen) of North Bay, Patti (Garth) of Ottawa & 2 great-grandchildren Cody & Caleigh Feeney. Also survived by her brother Alvin and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Friday, January 25th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Interment, Dorchester Union Cemetery.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Irene are asked to consider the Parkinson Society Canada.

My deepest condolences to John and his family. Irene was a wonderful woman who always had a smile on her face. I felt very special when she gave me my own cup in the concession booth! Irene will be greatly missed.
