Irlma Irene Ashworth

At her residence in London on Friday, April 15^th, 2016 in her 92^nd year. Beloved wife of the late D.J. (Jack) Ashworth (2007). Cherished mother of the late Ron Ashworth (2012), Sue Malone and her husband Jack, and Nancy Ashworth-Adams and her husband Gord Adams. Proud grandmother of John (Sonya) Malone, Robert (Tara) Malone, James (Crystal) Malone, Meghan (Andrew) Good, Matthew (Sarah) Adams, Daniel Adams (Desirée Pachkowski) and Dakota Adams and great-grandmother of nine fantastic children. Dear sister of Harold (Beverley) Weir and sister-in-law of Doug Ashworth. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, and Carol and Lyle Beatson. Predeceased by her brother Don Weir. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 19^th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Irlma are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

Mom was a cousin of Jack and she and her husband the late Rev. Edward Attwell had many memorable times with your Mom and Dad. I recall meeting your Mother many times, what a lovely lady she was. Mom has some health issues so will not be able to travel to London for the funeral. She had just been in touch with Irlma when she moved to her new home.
