It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Izabela Mucha (née Filipowicz), of London, Ontario, who passed away suddenly on November 4, 2025, at the age of 70.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Izabela’s children, Igor and Marta, were the centre of her world. Anyone who knew her knew she lived for her children. Her grandson, Tristan, was her pride and joy; she adored him endlessly and cherished every moment they shared.
Izabela was predeceased by her beloved mother, Antonina Filipowicz, and her brother, Janusz (John) Filipowicz.
Izabela was a kind, caring, and generous soul whose warmth and humour touched everyone who knew her. She had a contagious laugh, a young spirit, and a natural ability to bring light to any room she entered. Always fashionable, full of life, and up to date on everything from modern music to celebrity gossip, she kept those around her smiling and inspired.
She will be remembered as the heartbeat of her family, the leader of her home, and a loyal friend to many. Izabela made countless sacrifices for those she loved, and her strength, humor, and compassion will never be forgotten.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Forever young at heart, Izabela’s spirit will live on in the laughter, love, and memories she leaves behind.

Marta and Igor We were deeply saddened to hear the passing of your mother. We only met her a few times and had the privilege of having her here for Christmas one year. She was such a sweetheart with such a loving warm smile. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Both of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
