Jace Ronald Ngabwe

August 24, 2017

On August 24th, we entrusted back to God the spirit of our son, Jace Ronald Ngabwe from whom it came.

the dust returns to the earth as it once was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
~ Ecclesiastes 12:7

We are overwhelmingly blessed by the support we are receiving as we mourn our son’s unwitnessed drowning in our pool Wednesday evening and the ensuing 20 hour struggle on life support. We are experiencing deeply the peace of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit that has been richly bestowed on us and lavished on us through your prayers and words of encouragement.

Thank you for continuing to pray for strength for our family.

God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble. Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into other depths of the seas, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with its turmoil. Selah”
~ Psalm 46:1-3

It feels like there are so few words to say in these tragic moments. I will always remember Jace's bright smile in the Nursery and how he loved listening to stories ... and how excited he was to see his family come pick him up.
