Jack Chubb

On Friday, August 1^st, 2014, at the age of 93 in London, ON, Jack was peacefully called home to his Lord and Saviour. A Welshman and RAF Mosquito pilot in WWII, Jack was also a man of strong faith, humble and unassuming. He was Velma’s (2011) loving husband for nearly 65 years and a wonderful dad and grandpa.  He will be missed by his children Jan Jarrett (John) in Waterdown and Norm Chubb (Donna) in Ilderton; grandchildren Brent McCaig (Jean), Jacqui Duff (Ryan), Heather McCaig, Allison Chubb, and Jillian Bister (Marcel); and great grandchildren Alyssa, Jack, William, Lisa and Charlotte. They will cherish many happy memories. His eldest daughter, Sandie McCaig, passed away in 2005. A Memorial Service to honour Jack will be held at 11am, Saturday, August 9^th, in the Fellowship Lounge of North Park Church, 1510 Fanshawe Park Rd E, London. An interment will follow at 3pm, officiated by Jack’s granddaughter Allison, at St. John’s Cemetery in Arva.
