Brad, Holly, Shae & Jayden - We are thinking of you all this weekend as you spend time together as a family. We know how bittersweet this time can be. So many people will come to you with stories and memories of your Dad that you may already know, might have forgotton and most amazingly, many new stories that you have never heard before. We hope you find comfort in their memories. It is amazing to find out just how many lives one person can touch in their lifetime. It becomes an honour to know that you are part of their legacy.

Pat, Trish, Brad and Family We are truly saddened by the loss of your husband, father, grandfather and best friend and our thoughts are with you. We know saying goodbye isn't easy, so hang on to the memories and good times you've shared. Carrie I remember many times sitting on the porch on Bowman Ave. watching Ted come around the corner with 'Shot Glass' in tow feeling so excited; like a dog that needed to be walked. I remember sleeping in the camper out behind and hearing Teds infectious laughter bellowing into the Rondeau nite; Moose, Ralph, Dot and Fred all in sync. I'll never forget at Rice (or was it Balsalm) Lake; Ted and Dad getting me up on skis for the first time in freezing water, Ted granting me one more TRY to get the deed done (the rule was three and out). Or cooking breakfast with his Apron on making sure everyone was served first before himself. My most memorable times are of those and many more occasions our famalies spent together. Memories are forever, we will dearly miss and always love you Ted. Brian

Dear Patti, Brad and Trish. Ted will be forever in our memories and hearts. From Bob and Ted's trip to California two young fellows, to him holding our Melissa as a baby and the loving look and happiness on his face for his buddy. To our boating trips, weekends with you both, the laughs and Ted's great breakfasts. We will miss him more than words can say. Our love and strength to you all at this time.

~ Bob & Maureen Heffernan

Brad and Family - my deepest condolences at his difficult time. I can definitely remember the respect Ted garnerned when the Laurier boys were in london visiting. Patti, Brad and Tricia and families , MJ and I will cherish the memories of the good times and they have been many. Ted was challenged to a battle wherein most would have surrendered long ago. Ted did not lose; he has simply passed the task to us to continue to win. Love MJ & Mike

~ Mike & MJ Miller

Sometimes news like this hits you out of the blue and brings regrets. I regret that I didn't know Ted better and spend more time with him. I remember his visit with his wife Pat to Cochrane near Calgary quite a few years ago. He had the interest and initiative to look me up and I visited with Ted and Pat and their friends. I found Ted to be a wonderful guy and felt it was too bad we were separated by such a large distance because it would have been great to share a bit more of life with him. My codolences to his family and friends who I am sure will greatly miss him.

~ Cam O'Rourke (cousin in Calgary)

Pat, Brad and Tricia, my heart goes out to all of you at this difficult time. Pat, Brad & Trish: Three "performances" on Sunday where I'm either part of the show or directing. I know that I won't make it to the visitations. Mary's notification of Ted's passing saddened me, of course; since that moment, I have re-lived a flood of great memories -- water-skiing (for others, naturally), you and Ted meeting Moose for the first time, negotiating around that itty-bitty kitchen to make toast AND cook eggs at the same time, "infecting" the Bowman Ave. neighbours with the late-night laughter on the porch, shrimp, shrimp and more shrimp... and so on, and so on. I count on someone to deliver a eulogy as effective and so full of joy as Ted did for Ralph. It doesn't take a very skilled memory to recall some of the best days of our lives; even in the passage of time, their vividness left a lasting impression. Lots of love and wishing all of you strength, Keith
