James ‘Jim’ Henry Harper

Unexpectedly passed away at home on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Patricia Harper for 55 years. Beloved brother of Don (Doris) Harper, of Belleville, Joan (Bob) Powers, Nancy (Jamie) Gruber, brother-in-law Wayne Reidy, and sister-in-law Ursula Harper. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Kathleen; brother Tom; and sisters Patricia and Kathleen. Jim will be remembered lovingly by many nieces and nephews, special friends Scott and Pam Haldane, and his two furry pals. Estranged from brother Michael (Bev) Harper and sister Lorraine (Marc) Thomas. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. Registration is required to attend the visitation. Please note: as per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, attendance numbers will be restricted. Please be aware that COVID-19 protocols are in place which may preclude some from being able to attend and masks are mandatory. Private interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Pat. we will miss Jim and all his funny stories. He was a joy to know. It is sad that at this time with the Covid 19 that we will not be able to get together to share our stories. He will stay with us forever.
