Peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at University Hospital in his 63rd year. Beloved Dad “Tata” of Sylvia (Anatoly) Shilyuk and Peter Szywala. Dearest son of Bronislaw and the late Jozefa Szywala. Proud Dziadek “E-Yo-Yo” of Dmitry and Damian Shilyuk. Caring brother of Aleksandra Szywala, Krystyna (Henryk) Walczak, Maria Palka, Ela, and Henryka (Piotr) Buna. Jan will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends, especially Ingrid, Krzysiek, Bozena, Carol and Brian. Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. and will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF CZESTOCHOWA PARISH, 419 Hill Street, London.
