Our deepest sympathy to you Jerry and your family. It was such a shock to hear the news. Janet was such a fighter. You have been in our prayers all week. Janet was such a special angel who touched the lived of so many people. I only knew her for such a short time but even so, she made a profound impact. I treasured those rehearsal times together. Her musical skills and professionalism made our move back to London very meaningful.

I have only just found out about Janet's passing and feel deeply saddened. Janet was such a beautiful person, inside and out. I met Janet while my mom was in Vic Hospital and I was drawn to her by her beautiful smile, optimistic attitude and vibrant personality. She was such a talent. I will never forget her. I will always be touched by Jerry's constant support to his beloved Janet. Words cannot express how I feel learning of Janet's death. I'm sure she was an inspiration to others (including myself). A life that will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy on behalf of myself and my family. A special hug to you Jerry.

Dear Jerry and family, Janet was a most lovely person and always showed respect and positive regard for those with whom she interacted. I have been so privileged to have been a part of bell choir at Exeter under Janet's leadership. She always made me feel like a very important person and that was a true gift to receive and a way to show her genuine love for every individual she ever met. Heaven is a little brighter with her passing and earth with the gifts she gave and inspired in each of us.

It was an honour to care for Janet during her illness. She always carried herself with such grace and showed so much kindness to everyone who crossed her path . My thoughts are with her family and friends during this difficult time.

My memory of Janet will forever be linked with the wonderful Celebration of Life Concert of which I was privileged to be a part. Her positivity, vibrancy and strong faith shone through at every practice. My sincere condolences to Jerry, her children, family and friends. She was an example to us all.

Jerry and Family: It was my great privilege to know Janet and 'inherit' the vibrant music program that she built at Oakridge. I so appreciate her support in tough times and even more so, the tremendous effort that she made to be at my husband's funeral last October. It meant so much to me. I met Janet when I joined the South Huron Community Choir and the Bell Ringing Group. It was such a pleasure to have her as our leader! Her incredible musical talent and her love of God was apparent in all that she did! She was a beautiful person, both inside and out! What a privilege to have known her! Jerry and Family, you will miss her dearly, but I am sure she will be guiding each of you, in her loving way, from heaven. My sincere sympathy to each of you, at this time.

Alex - The last I saw Janet was the concert she put on for donating to ovarian cancer. It was a beautiful concert that was put on that day. I knew Janet from the church in Exeter. She was organist, and it was amazing to watch her move her feet so quickly. I was really sad when I learned she had died. But I will always remember her as the enduring, happy person she was. I really loved Janet. Carrie - Alex echoes my sentiments too - singing in Janet's choirs was a privilege I treasure, but mostly just getting to know Janet was the biggest privilege of all. Our thoughts are with all of the family, and our hope is that you will have as many smiles as you do tears, remembering Janet and her legacy of joy and hope.

We are so saddened by the news of Janet's passing and send warmest condolences to you Jerry and the family. She was a very special lady who could light up a room by her very presence. It was an honour to have been able to participate in the Celebration of Life concert, almost a year ago now. How she had hoped to do another for a special cause. We shall all miss her.
