When is the apple iphone five ( or successor of the iPhone 4) likely to be released? I lost my iPhone 3GS a few weeks ago, and I was wanting to know if I must obtain the iphone4 at this moment or maybe wait for the apple iphone 5... Additionally, I been told the apple iphone 4's display screen shatters simply if you ever fall it w/o an instance. Is definitely that correct?

Dear Mike, Leslie and Families: Although its been many years since we've seen Jan, I will always remember her contagious smile and powerful voice. Westpark brought us together and I was fortunate enough to call Jan a friend. We shared many talks during her early diagnosis. Jan always showed strenght and was fearless, she trusted her Lord to carry her and comfort her. Please accept our deepest condonlences. Rest in Peace dear Jan. God Bless You

Dear Mike and Leslie -- We commit to lift you up the Lord during this time and the days ahead. We were so sorry to hear of Jan's passing. Jan was an extrodinary women who understood how to serve and love others fully. I admired her unshakable faith in her Lord. I will miss that unmistakable Jan hug and smile everytime I would run into her at MBC on our summer vacations. You are loved and missed dear Jan.

~ Laurie Lane

What a blessing Jan was for me and specially that Thursday night during rehearsal at church we were Taking a little break when I saw Jan taking a little rest and told me she was in pain, after a little prayer, she stood up and continued with the rehearsal like nothing happened; I saw Jesus that night through Jan's suffering and assured me that his sacrifice for me was worth the pain he suffered for us. Jan was an example for me of endurance and faith no matter what the storm I'm going to face I know God is in control. God bless you Janice.

~ Marcos Henriquez

Mike and Leslie - my deepest prayers and thoughts are with you in the passing of your wife and mother, Jan. As a member of West Park I have been deeply moved over the years by Jan's beautiful voice - she opened people's hearts, including mine, everytime she sang. When I began my spiritual walk years ago, and first heard Jan sing, my heart was touched by her graceful gift. Please be comforted by those around you whose lives she touched - Jan will be missed but always remembered. Blessings to all of you. Diane.

~ Diane Picard

Dear Mike & Les, I'm so thankful for you guys in my life. Jan was so important to all of us, and we were a family. Jan always had a mother role in my life. She would always go out of her way for other's. I remember when my mom was in the hospital on my birthday, Jan picked me up from school at lunch time and had made reservations at this super fancy restaurant and had already ordered us french onion soup cause she knew it was my favorite. That's the kind of person Jan was. She had a serious side, but man could she joke and be hilarious. Yesterday out of the corner of my eye I kept thinking I saw her and wanted to just run into her arms. It's not a goodbye though just a cya later. I loved and am gonna miss you so much Janice Hope Gore.

~ Joceline Paquette

Dear Mike and Leslie, I am so sorry for your loss. Jan was a wonderful women, so full of beauty. I feel honored to have known her. Although I have not met either of you personally, I just wanted to share with you both, my best memories of Jan; they were always when she spoke of her family. It was impossible not to fall in love with how much she loved her family. Sincerely, Traci English

~ Traci English

Dear Mike and Leslie and family, I am so sorry for your loss...our loss, until we meet her again. What a wonderful person and testimony of her faith she lived, and loved. I had the pleasure of working with her for a few years and she taught me so much about Christ through her own journey, with Grace and Integrity. Her smile could brighten any room and anyone's day. Please take comfort in knowing that even those of us who may not have met you and your family, feel a love and compassion for you, Jan shared about you with us, I feel like I know you. I lift you up in prayer and hope you feels God's comfort now, and always, Sincerly Lori Lee

~ Lori Lee

To Mike & Leslie, Ron & Faith, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. But it certainly is heaven's gain. I was honored to sing with the girls twice in my career and they taught me about love and giving to others like no other group ever did. Janice and her spirit made a real impact on my ministry early on and I will be forever grateful to her. Blessings to all of you.

~ Jerry Garcia

Mike and Leslie, we are so deeply sorry and sad to hear about Jan. We are praying for you both today and in the days ahead. Jan was a very sweet person, who had such a passion for Christ, she knew that whatever happened in life that God is in control and she was always okay with that. She is someone who taught me so much about faith and how to live it even when things don't go as we plan. God sees the bigger picture. This morning in church we sang "I can only Imagine", well Jan doesn't have to anymore. Her faith was so strong and now she sees her Saviour face to face. Love, prayers and hugs to you both

~ David and Julie Crawford

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Jan's testimony and her love of the Lord will not be forgotten. Her ministry here on earth will continue with the music that has gone out from New Life Trio. Her singing has meant so much to me in the long nights. It continues to be a blessing.

Mike. Leslie and Family: Our words alone are not enough to express our deep sorrow. If our hearts could speak you'd know how we grieve along side of you. Our prayers are with you all at this time . It has been a joy for Don and I to have known her all of her life. She was a beautiful person and God has blessed her with such a wonderful voice. She will be dearly missed by all. May God give you all peace and comfort to know that she is no longer suffering and is at rest in the arms of Jesus. Love the Harpers.

~ Don and Rose Harper

Mike and Leslie, May you both know God's peace and strength at this time. As I was driving home from Toronto on Thursday night I heard the song "we will rise on eagle's wings, no more suffering, no more pain" and just kept thinking of Jan - not knowing how close this truth was for her. And yet, the hole she leaves in so many lives - she was one of those people that just made the world a better place when you saw her. We had so many good talks at MBC and even this summer as she was in so much pain, all she was thinking about was others and what they were going through. She lived out her faith in so many tangible ways and we are blessed to have called her our friend. With love Rick and Christene

~ Christene Scrimgeour

~ Teresa and Jon Craig and family

Dear Burham & Gore Family Our sister and friend will be missed but we know Jan has a new body and is with our Lord. Over the past 20 years I have shared vacations with your family at MBC . Jan made me welcome at family gatherings and outings - to Kawartha Dairy for ice cream, Pioneer Village, and many other off site trips. Also shared in my annual beans and weiner lunch on my trailer deck. Jan was a loving mother to Leslie - remember when you straighten her hair at the trailer? And allowed Aunt Sandra to flip you a loonie once in awhile? And introduced her foster childern to MBC and Aunt Sandra. Wendy and Jan would break out in singing in the trailer. Music was an expression of her love for our Lord . I was honored to attend a service at Newcastle Baptist Church, as the trio came to my area of Ontario, and received a CD - which gets alot of travel time in my car. Friday I was playing it and the song that touched me at this time was "HE KNOWS MY NAME". I believe the songs the trio sang also gave comfort and strength to Jan, as it does to many. Thank you Jan for being you. I will miss you.

~ Sandra "Sandy" McArthur

Dearest Leslie and Mike: Words cannot express how we feel about the loss of such a beautiful lady in Jan. She was blessed with many talents and such a caring compassionate person. John and I enjoyed our strolls with Jan and conversations on the beach at Barrow Bay every summer. Leslie and Mike our prayers and thoughts will be with you during this time. All our love, Melynda, John, Lucas and Catherine. XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOOXOXOXOXO

~ Melynda White

Dear Mike and Leslie, We are truly saddened about Jan's passing but we are thankful knowing that she's is at peace and at rest with the Lord her God. Jan, Leslie and ministry members from West Park church visited us at home in December 2009. They sang Christmas songs and prayed with us in a very difficult time of our lives. They brought hope and the joy of Christmas back into our lives in our trials. We remember the very spot Jan sat in the living room and sang so beautifully. We had no idea of her illness so you could imagine how very touched we were to know that she ministered out of her need to us. She was indeed a blessing! Her smile, voice and kindness will never be forgotten.

~ Godwin and Emily Arku

Dear Mike and Leslie, and the beautiful foster daughters whom you all loved so dearly, my heart weeps for you. It was my joy to get to know Jan through small group. Times spent in your house, getting to hear your story, laughing together, loving together, learning about our Lord together will always been some of my fondest memories. I am so thankful that Jan has been able to have those years, seeing Leslie grow up, seeing Mike's business flourish, having the chance to be a 'mom' to those girls who she loved fiercely, and most of all meeting and being a blessing to all those whom she came into contact with. Some of my favourite West Park memories include her singing our 'special music' and being in the special musicals. always made my heart sing to hear her lift her voice, and what a beautiful and magnificant choir she is now a part of. My heart aches for you both, as I know that while you cling to the Lord, there is so much sorrow in your heart, as you lament the passing of your love into the Lord's presence. Know that you will be in both my thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

~ Janel Andrews

Mike, Leslie, Pat and Ray: Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you cope with the loss of Jan. We have such beautiful memories of the contribution Jan made to our worship services in Lion's Head over the years. We had every intention of coming to London today to extend our sympathy to you, but the weather was not co-operative. We are with you in spirit and know God's comfort will be your portion. Love you, Glenna and Jim.

~ Jim Lonie/Glenna Nixon

Dear Mike and Leslie and Jan's family: Ron and I are very sorry to hear of Jan's passing. We did not know her well, remember meeting her at David and Julie's wedding and also seeing her up on Flagler Ave in New Smyrna Beach when we both were shopping. She was such a beautiful lady and will be remembered that way. You will miss her but remember that she is free of sickness and with the One who loves her so and someday you will all be together again. May God be very close to you in the days ahead and give you peace and comfort. Take care of each other, love to all of you, Dorothy and Ron Crawford.

~ Dorothy and Ron Crawford

Dear Mike and Leslie and families...my love and sorrow goes out to all of you at this painful time. This is such a great loss but also a great joy to know that peace has arrived finally. Jan will be missed by Me and Joceline in so many significant and meaningful ways. She was a warm and loving and safe and comforting friend. She was fun, caring and sooo compassionate. She was strong and often was my strength when I needed some. Even as I go through this experience of saying good-bye, I just want her to come along beside me and help me through the tough stuff. She was my Jan Gore as I called her and she will always be with me with her special love as I live my life from here on. I am so very thankful for Jan and Mike and Leslie and for all the family.

~ renee paquette

Dear Mike, Leslie and family. Our heartfelt condolences and sympathy go out to your family during this time of loss. Jan was an example of God's love and compassion to others. Over the past years at West Park getting to know Jan , we saw how her joy and love affected others. We trust that God will surround your family with His love and strength as you go through this together. Know that you and your family are loved , prayed for and thought of during this very hard time that you face. Love in Christ Mark & Kim Lightbody

~ Mark & Kim Lightbody

Jan is being missed and the family is being remembered in Tokyo as well. A youth pastor's job is a lot easier with a great youth group like we had at Heritage Park in the early '80's, and Jan was very much a part of that, and contributing in so many ways, not the least of which was singing at our wedding! At a funeral here in Japan, an elderly pastor said, "For the believer, it's not 'sayonara'; it's 'auf wiedersehen' (see you again!)"

~ Doug & Carol Woon

Mr. Gore, Leslie and family, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God has a plan for everyone. Leslie, know that I am always here for you (L) With deepest sympathy, Aleeshya Broome

~ Aleeshya Broome

Mike and Leslie, We saw Jan face the many challenges with her health with great courage and not give into fear. She was able to do this because of her obvious faith in a loving and sovereign God. She inspired us all to do the same. We know Jan would want you to continue to live courageously as you both grieve for your loss and learn how to live without your wife and mom. God says of himself, "As a mother comforts her child, so I'lI comfort you". Is 66: 13 We pray you experience God's love and presence in the months to come. With love, Chris & Kimberly Matthisen and Sonja, Bonnie, Michelle and Caleb

~ Chris & Kimberly Matthisen

Ron,Faith and family. My prayers are with you. I have many memories of Jan, Mike and Leslie at MBC....on the beach and in the chapel.. Jan ..always had a smile on her face and kind words of encouragement . She always made time to have a chat..even this past summer . Sincere sympathy.. .Christian Love, Karen McArthur, Lindsay, Ontario

~ Karen McArthur

Many will speak of Jan's beautiful voice, and rightly so, but let's not forget her beautiful smile. Even during the difficult times perhaps it was the last time she was able to come to church her face radiated God's love and her inner peace. "Just think of stepping onshore, and finding it Heaven; Of touching a hand, and finding it God's; Of breathing new air and finding it celestial; Of waking up in Glory and finding it Home!" With our prayers and sympathies, Wally & Jeannie Stephenson

Mike & Leslie, Leah and I are truly very saddened to hear of Jan's passing. Mike, when I saw you only a couple of week's ago at The Home Show, I didn't even ask about Jan although, as you know, I was aware that she had been sick some years ago. I did not know that her illness had returned. I didn't ask about her because I was conscious of making my friend wait several times beforehand while I chatted to friends and acquaintances. I am sorry now that I didn't ask anyway. When we walked away from your booth, I told him about her. How she had been ill some years ago and although I didn't know her very well even then, how I had been drawn to her strength and beauty. She truly had the most beautiful eyes. Yesterday, I lay in bed with the flu with all the usual nasty symptoms. I actually thought about Jan right out of nowhere. I hope this doesn't seem insensitive, but I wondered if this might be even close to how she felt when she went through chemo some years ago. Later that same day, Leah came into my room and told me that Jan had passed away at 2am that morning. I was overwhelmed. I hadn't known that she was ill, I thought about her and then heard of her passing right afterward. I can't help feeling that she was reaching out to me, even though I was so far on the periphery of her life. Leah and I had a nice talk about her. She told me about what a wonderful camp counsellor Jan had been at West Park summer camp. She laughed at the memory of Jan not letting her bring a snake home from the camp. Leah remarked on what a pretty smile she thought she had and that she was very kind and patient. I am comforted for the two of you and all who loved Jan, when I recall that you have a strong faith. Of course you will miss her. She was beautiful. Please know that both Leah and I are thinking of you now and send our sincere wishes for peace and love to you and your family. Yours Truly in Friendship, Joan & Leah

~ Joan Lamoureux & Leah Beamish

To the family of Jan, I want to borrow a line that I heard a Pastor say, that you will have more of a future with Jan than a past, I share in your time of great difficulty. Love Roxanne

~ Roxanne(friend of Wendy)

Dear Mike & Leslie, As friends of Pat and Ray, we extend our sincere sympathy to all the family. We will always remember Jan for her sweet spirit, great courage and ministering to us through her beautiful singing at Bethel Church in Lion's Head. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you as you face the days ahead. John & Golda Woodrow

~ John & Golda Woodrow

What a loving caring person. Always concerned for others when she was going through such trying times in her own life. A blessing to know her all these years. A privilege to blend voices with the best harmonizer I have ever known as we shared ministry at West Park over the years. Our love and prayers are with Mike, Leslie and the extended families.
