Janice Robb Lyttle

October 4, 2024

Peacefully, after a long battle, Janice Robb Lyttle passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Stratford General Hospital in her 63rd year. Survived by the love of her life, Scott Robinson. Proud mother of Karl Robb (Mandy), Jackie Lyttle (JP), and Connor Lyttle (Myriah Kay). Cherished Grandma of Jackson and Summer Robb. Youngest daughter of Jack Robb and the late Irene. Dear sister of Cathy Stuckless (John), the late Al Robb (Joanne), and Dave Robb (Annette). Janice will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Janice had a love for live music, trying new restaurants, and enjoying time on the farm with her beloved Scott. She was always up for a road trip and spending time with her family at the French River and Miller Lake, and her friends at Manitoulin Island. She was her children’s and grandchildren’s number one cheerleader, attending all their sporting events and was proud of all their accomplishments.

A funeral service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. with visitation two hours prior, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

I miss you every day, not just once a day but multiple times in every aspect of life. Little things I do everyday you taught me, situations where I wish I could hear your opinion, questions I still have about adulthood! I look up at sky all the time and hope you can see the beauty I see in the universe. You and I are a lot more a like then I ever realized and not just the hair! Your soul was strong and kind. I remember when you were going through chemo and your hair started falling out. You had such a positive outlook on it I admired your bravery. You were brushing it in the backyard and your hair was flying in the wind but you said " the birds will use my hair to build their nest and keep their babies warm". That always stuck with me and showed how selfless you were. When I lost someone close to me a few years ago we chatted. I was heart broken. I said to you " I feel like a piece of me has been ripped from my heart" You told me she will always be a part of who I am and to embrace the things I admired about her and to carry them with me in my own life. I have taken that advice with you and will take with me: your kind heart, your sense of humour and what I'll need most, your strength and resilience. I see you everyday in the sunrise, and I miss you every evening in the sun sets. I hope you are at peace and I know this isn't goodbye. I love you always 💕

What a beautiful day we had celebrating you and your life and your loves. From the gorgeous sunrise with a full moon still hanging in the west to the amazing colours in the trees as we travelled to your hometown. Everyone that loved you from past to present, family and friends, came out to celebrate you. You were the centre of attention all day. I know that normally that would not have been your preference but I felt your presence and you were pleased. We were blessed with a perfect autumn afternoon and we were all able to share time together in your son's beautiful backyard laughing, crying eating, drinking - the only thing missing was your beautiful laughter. You are so loved and will be missed profoundly. Love your sister

We made a donation to Wellspring Cancer Support on behalf of our dear friend Janice. We had been friends for about 50 years, a lifetime of amazing memories. Janice was so much fun to be with, her wonderful sense of humor, and a smile that would light up any room. We spent so much time together when our children were small. Our hearts are with Scott, the love of her life, and the entire Robb family, her children Karl, Jackie, and Connor. Janice is gone far too soon, but she'll never be forgotten. We love you dear friend, see you in heaven. ❤⚘🫂
