How I love my "Aunt" Jeannie! I adopted her as my Aunt, even though she technically isn't, when I was a little girl. We would always visit her and Fred when we were in Peterborough. Apparently I would call Fred to ask if he would let Jeannie babysit me when my parents went away on trips! She was always so warm and fun. Even as she aged, she kept her great sense of humor and was awesome to talk to - about serious and not so serious stuff! When she came to out house warming party a few years back, she met every person in the room and they all loved her!! I will miss her and feel lucky to have had her in my life.

My condolences on Jeanne's passing. Jeanne and Fred were weekly euchre players at our our parents (Marg & Bud LaPlante) house in Peterborough. My sister Mary and I were always included in the parties just about every saturday night.

Jeannie and I were friends for many years and I've missed our weekly outings to Swiss Chalet since she moved to London. She was a great friend, always cheerful, always kind. My sincere condolences to all those whose lives she has touched and who will miss her ever-ready smile.
