Jeremiah ‘Jerry’, Dr. Singh
January 8, 2021
Devoted and loving husband and father, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones, on Friday, January 8, 2021, at the age of 48. Immediate family who are profoundly missing Jerry include his wife, Chris; two sons, CJ and Gabriel Singh; parents, James and Cathy Singh; grandmother, Rosie Chee; brother, Christopher Singh, sister-in-law, Sarah Singh and niece, Poppy Singh. Also remembering Jerry fondly are the many aunties and uncles, friends he collected in his life, as well as neighbours, cousins, ‘cottage cousins’, in-laws, and our dear friend, Julie Floyd – so many beautiful people who have supported him throughout his life and his courageous battle with cancer and brain injury. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Jerry was one of the gentlest souls anyone has ever met. His infectious smile is forever remembered by all who knew him and was only outshone by his wonderful personality. Despite being the handsomest man I have ever met, a badminton champion, having achieved a doctorate degree and having developed two successful chiropractic practices, he was so humble, always thinking of others. Jerry truly lived a beautiful life and was very grateful for his blessings. He remained patient, content and positive even through the significant health challenges he faced in later years.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
Thank you to the heroic staff at University Hospital Emergency Department in London, the team of angels from the London LHIN, our caring naturopath Dr. Holly, all the doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals who helped us along this journey. Jerry’s death is a real tragedy because he was so young and full of life and talent. But we believe God must have needed an angel and perhaps Jerry is now helping someone else who is struggling through their own journey. At the very least, we know that he is watching over all of us.
“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened!” Dr. Seuss

My condolences to Jerry's family. I just learned of his passing, and saddened for the loss of such a great person. Fond memories of spending time with Jerry in chiropractic school 20 years ago now. Jerry always had a great smile, and an infectiously optimistic attitude. RIP Jerry, I am grateful to have known you.
My sincere condolences to Jerry's family at this sad time. Jerry's warmth & friendliness and ability to see the blessings in life was a true gift. Wishing you peace
Dear Chris and family, Please accept our sincere sympathy.
We are so very sorry Jerry is no longer on earth and extend our heartfelt sympathy. Jerry dearly loved his wife, sons, parents and family. He was superbly skillful and kind professionally. We greatly appreciate his help and healing for me and all his patients. We are all grateful to have known this wonderful, cheerful man and know you are right in believing Jerry is called to do fine work and watch over his family as always.
I am really sad for the Singh family for the passing of Jerry. I first met him when he became the Chiropractor/Owner of the Westown Chiropractic Clinic. He instantly impressed me with his skills, but also with his smile and gentle manner. I spent much of my career as a Physicians' Assistant in a Pathology Department, so we always had interesting chats while I was getting "adjusted". I also do energy healing, and teach Tai Chi/Qigong which he always asked about. I was honoured to do some work with him. I remember when he shared his brain issue with me, and I knew he had a big challenge. But he was always positive and motivated to find ways to get well. I will miss seeing his smile when we went to the Grand on rhe same night. And Chris, you him were such an amazing wife and partner for him. I know you and the kids will miss him but his love will live on within you. Go in peace and love Jerry 😌
So sorry Chris! I didn't know Jerry well but he was always kind and friendly when we met walking our dogs in the neighbourhood. I was happy when you two got together, married and had those beautiful boys. He will be missed but his impact and spirit will abide.

He was far too young .. am happy to read that he lived a beautiful life. My deepest condolences to his wife and two sons and all his Family. His spirit will live on forever. God Bless, Linda Buckholz
Thinking of you all at this time and to everyone that shared in Jerry's wonderful life. He was an amazing man inside and out and a wonderful Chiropractor as well. He was not just that but he was a wonderful friend that I cherished and such a loss to everyone. He was so strong going thru his illness and his beautiful personality and hey that smile always made you smile. Thinking of you Chris as your two beautiful children you both had and I want to thank you Chris for the love and happiness you gave Jerry. You had an amazing life together and praying for you all now. My Heart <3 goes out to you all. RIP Jerry as you will be so missed by everyone. Some have a gift of a broad smile. Some have a gift of a big heart. Some have a gift of putting those around them at ease. Some have a gift of connection to others. Some have a gift of lighting up a room. The average man is lucky to process one, maybe two of these traits. Jerry prosessed all and so much more. He was with me the night I met my wife almost 24 years ago. And I am thankful every day for his confidence inspiring friendship that night. From late nights studying to weekend volleyball tournaments Jerry was always the one to brighten the room, the court and any situation with his huge smile. To Jerry's family, please know he was a constant light of positive energy and the legacy of brightness he leaves behind can never be extinguished. Rest In Peace friend. Much Love from the Jones'.
As you all know Jerry was loved by all. He had a way of putting everyone at ease. There's no doubt he was a great family man. Although I haven't seen him since we graduated 20 years ago, his impression was everlasting. Kind, friendly and welcoming to all. I can't think of better qualities to be remembered by. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Dr. Cam Borody CMCC 2001
Chris: Garry and I send our condolences to you and your family. Memories will keep him forever in your hearts. xoxo
Such sadness in my heart to hear about Jerry. I will never forget his smile, wit, and positive spirit! As a fellow chiropractor, and badminton player, we had some great times on and off the court, and even the most serious conversations involved laughter. My thoughts go out to your family and beautiful children. Your "buddy", Kendall.
Jerry. Kim and I will always remember your kind heart and warm smile. You had a way of making every person you interacted with feel better. No wonder you were such a great chiropractor. Jamie Perlin, class of 2001.
Rest In Peace Jerry. Your smile lit up a room, your warmth could melt an iceberg and your character and spirit was second to none. The tragedy of losing you too soon is surpassed by the light and love you brought to all those who were fortunate enough to know you. To the Singh family I hope the pain and tears you are going through right now is soon replaced by laughter and fond memories of the special gifts Jerry gave to so many. David Greenfield, CMCC Class of 2001
To the Singh Family I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Jerry. Always the man of positivity and so much fun. I have so many wonderful memories with Jerry. Loved playing badminton with him because he would run circles around me while playing mixed up doubles. He always had me in hysterics with all his encouraging words and humour on and off the court. After badminton, beer and wings at the Dickens and him whipping me back into shape when I had injuries. Such an knowledgeable and wonderful chiropractor but also an amazing athlete. Jerry will always be remembered for his caring disposition and his great big smile. One of a kind. My thoughts are with all of your family. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten. â¤ï¸
Rest in peace Jerry is now an angel plus heaven. The most wonderful man You was part of my life and you'll always be in my Heart â¤ï¸
So sorry. Warm, loving energy to all who Jerry touched. Fond memories of when he worked with Dr. Scott Sutherland.

Jerry was my first chiropractor. He introduced me to the science and made me very comfortable with it. He always called me "The Happiest Guy in the World" because I always knew I'd be happy when I left there so I was smiling when I came in! It changed my attitude and I will always try to live up to my Monicer(?)...Nickname! Thank you Jerry.
