Jeremy Norman Lachapelle

May 10, 2026

Jeremy Norman Lachapelle, 52, passed far too soon on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Parkwood Hospital in London, with his loving wife at his side. His love of Star Wars and sports kept him forever entertained. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Katrina Flack and his children, Tyler and Jordyn Lachapelle; cherished son of Joanne (née Girard) and late father Richard Lachapelle of Windsor; loving brother of Rachelle; beloved by the Flack and Postma families, especially his nephews Judah and Isaac Postma, who will forever miss the shenanigans with their Uncle Jer. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins who treasured their time with him.

Jeremy spent over 20 years working at GoodLife’s corporate office and made many friends along the way.  Jeremy had a knack for welcoming people into his life, leaving a lasting impression and many memories in his wake.

My sincerest condolences to Katrina, Tyler, Jordan and all of Jeremy's loved ones. It is in these difficult times that we turn to the scriptures for strength and guidance. All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Jeremy was my best friend in kindergarten at Pavillon des Jeunes in Belle River. We had many great times together that year and we bonded over both being Star Wars fanatics. I was heartbroken when he left for a new school and finally caught back up with him via Facebook some 45 years later. Rest in peace Jeremy. I always have and always will remember you fondly. Josh

Although I only knew Jeremy for a short time, it did not take long to understand how special he was to so many people around him. Through the friendship he shared with Kevin, I could see the kind of person he was — warm, genuine, kind-hearted, and someone whose presence truly meant something to others. It is heartbreaking to know he is gone so soon. My heart goes out to his family, friends, and everyone who loved him. May the memories, laughter, and moments shared with Jeremy continue to bring comfort and keep his spirit close. Rest peacefully.

Jeremy was someone I only had the chance to work with briefly, but in that short time he left a real impression. He was kind, genuine, and the sort of person who made those around him feel welcome. It was clear he was a great guy with a good heart, and he will be remembered fondly by everyone who knew him. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who are grieving his loss. No one’s ever really gone. - Luke Skywalker

I was saddened to hear about the passing of my cousin Jeremy. I have alot of memories with him , as my parents and his spent alot of time visiting when we were kids. I know people go separate ways as we get older but doesn't mean something like this doesn't hurt. My prayers go out to my Aunt Joanne and cousin Rachelle , Jeremy wife and children and their families. I am thinking of you all as you go through this difficult time. RIP cousin you will be missed by all that you knew through out the years.

I didnt know jeremey super well but the times that I was hanging out with Tyler, everytime I saw Jeremy he always filled the room with laughter and always had something to talk about with starwars or somthing nerdy! I always enjoyed chatting with him, he was always so welcoming! I have some fond memories of hanging out with his son tyler and him when I was a teenager. He will be missed but never forgotten. My thoughts are with his family and friends. Cheers.

Jeremy, you were an amazing friend. While not unexpected, I still can't believe that you're gone. That said, I am grateful that you are no longer in pain and are finally at peace, and with your dad. You had an enormous heart, a helping spirit, and were there for me and my boys in countless ways over the years. I have so many memories - our King Street basement chats, visiting your parents with Wilson, you helping with odd jobs around the house because I had no clue, the chicken stir-fry food poisoning incident, many great times and laughs with Erin, our Halloween haunted house tradition with Dexter, being courtside at the Windsor Express, me dragging you to fitness classes and you being a very good sport about it, being so happy when you met and married Katrina (and us sending you selfies when we ran into each other), and you being so happy when I met Luke. I will love and miss you forever. And will always remember you on May 4th!

~ Tammy

You will be missed Jeremy. Enjoyed the pools we were in for sports and enjoyed just overall sports chat. May you rest in peace
