Dear Nanette, Jim, Drew and Families: My heartfelt condolences in the loss of your dear mom and grandma. I knew Jessie for many years and she was a very dear soul to me- full of fun, always had a good joke to tell and looked on the brightest side of life even amidst adversity. My heart goes out to Nanette- I know how deeply your mom loved you and how proud she was of you as of all her children. Oh! How loyal she was to family and how much she loved her "wains". She was an inspiration to me with her courage, wisdom, wit and humor. It was a joy and treat to be around her. When I first met her she came laden with gifts in her suitcase and gave me a lovely lace tablecloth made in Scotland. I remember walking with her to a restaurant for tea and 1/2 way she realized she had her slippers on but still wore them to the teahouse where we laughed ourselves silly about it. Such a great outlook on life and she will be so missed by all whose lives she touched. Rest in peace, lovely lady.

Grannie/Great Grannie. You will be very missed by everyone! Sorry that you didn't get to meet Hunter also. I always remember you telling me to straighten my back up when I'm sitting. You always made me laugh also. Dad and Arlene always and will have good stories about you to share. Love you always, Travis & Hunter

Grannie/Great Grannie: You will be missed dearly by all of us and will forever be in our hearts. Although baby Emily never got to meet you in person we will be sure to show her pictures of you and tell her stories of your visits with us. I especially remember the after dinner walks that my dad looked foward to ("another walk?!?"). You were always out front leading the way. We will also remember your sense of humour and your canny ability to beat everyone at cards. Love always, Melinda, Trevor and baby Emily.

Dear Drew, Jim, Nancy and Families: Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was a very wonderful caring, considerate and loving person and I feel honoured to have known her. I remember the wonderful times that my late husband Fred and I had with her and the rest of the family. She was always a delight to be around with her funny stories and her beautiful Scottish lilt. I believe that Emily has arrived in our family in a very appropriate time. They say that for every door that closes, a window opens.
