Joan Bidner

March 11, 2019

On Monday, March 11th our world got smaller. Joan Bidner, 65, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her family. She will be forever missed by her husband Ken of 44 years who lost the love of his life. Her children Lesley and Brent, whom she loved dearly, will miss her more than words can ever say. Survived by her siblings Jean McCallum (Gord) and Ross Bentley (Cathy) as well as by her extended family Fran Betts (Barry), Chris Bidner (Jane), and Barbara Bidner. She was loved by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ken and Edith Bentley. Joan was fortunate to have had many close friendships over the years and will be missed greatly. We are thankful to staff at University Hospital for all of their support. As per Joan’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in her memory to the Humane Society London & Middlesex.

Shocked and saddened by this news. Joan and I worked together in Savings Services at Canada Trust (prior to TD merger), with Roberta, Pete, Dan, Sue, and Roseanne - we had so much fun. Later on we connected again when she worked at Ivey Publishing. She was a wonderful person and I know she will be greatly missed. Hoping your memories bring you comfort in the days ahead.
