Peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, October 18, 2015. Loving wife of Harold “Tex” Coulter for 53 years. Cherished Mom of Dr. Lesley Coulter (Eric), of Calgary and Scott (Carolee), of London. Treasured Grandma of Rebecca, Sydney, Paige and Christopher. Fondly remembered by her extended family and many close friends. Predeceased by her parents Marjorie and Lloyd Brackenbury and her grandparents May and Fred McRoberts. Joan loved spending time with the TVGC Ladies’ Tuesday 9-Hole Golf League and the Daughters of the Nile. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., with a memorial service under the auspices of the Daughters of the Nile, Omar Temple #111 at 5:00 p.m., at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the celebration of Joan’s life will be conducted on Sunday, October 25th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Private family inurnment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. A special thank you to Dr. Lucy Pezzutto for over 20 years of caring. Heartfelt thanks to nurses Joy and Linda, and their team, including enhanced personal support workers who all provided compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Joan are asked to consider VON Middlesex-Elgin or your charity of choice.
