"LIFE IS TOO SHORT, BUY THE SHOES." JOAN was just an amazing woman, nurse and friend. The times I was with JOAN I never heard her complain once, she always had a smile, never negative. It was such an honour to drive her to appointments, visiting with her.. She will be missed but her pain is finally gone. My thoughts and prayers are with her sister and 2 brothers. Mary Keays
Am thinking fondly of Joan when we attending Nursing School. My thoughts to you all at this time. Joan will be missed . Fondly Heather Cass-Kerr
I had the honor of meeting Joan while training at St Joe's in London and she was our valedictorian for the class of 1975. During these 2 years I got to know a smart, intuitive and caring person. Although our paths only crossed at our 5 year reunions after graduation, I heard numerous stories of her skills in the bone department and her caring ways with her patients. Our song was "Make me a channel of your peace" and I truly hope that is where she is now, at peace. Condolences to Barb and family and a thankyou for enabling us to keep in touch with her via email during her long journey. Sincerely, Wendy (McClorry) Kelly
My sincere condolences to the Elliott family. Joan will be missed.
