Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of 64 years to Maria Fatima Fornelos. Cherished father of Carlos (Bev) Fornelos and Fernando (Lynn) Fornelos. Dear grandfather of Mikael, Kristina (Adam), Alexandra (Bryan) and Gabriel, and great-grandfather of Joaquim, Olivia and Jack. Treasured brother of Olivia, Ceu and the late Helena. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., and Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the LHSF – Cancer Program or St. Joseph’s Hospice, London.

Jack was the nicest kindest man I have ever met. I met him in 1988 when I worked at Color Your World at Wharncliffe and Southdale. It has been a pleasure to have waited on him ever since. All the best to Carlos and the family. He will be sadly missed. Rest in Peace.

A very special and lovely man who I was lucky enough to know as 'Avo' through my dear friend Kristina. A formidable host and tour guide when I first traveled to Portugal with Kristina in 2008. Very special memories that I cherish.
