Tom: Sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. My condolences go out to you and the family. I worked at 3M with your dad for many years and I remember him as being one of the nicest men that I ever had the pleasure of working with. He was such a gentle and kind man. I remember him so vividly. I'm sure you'll miss him terribly. Prayers are with you at this most sorrowful time.

Tom: Very sorry about your loss. It's great when you can say your Dad was your best friend. Back in the day, whenever I popped over to the house, flew in the door and began the dialogue with "Ho, Ho, Mr. Dobes," I knew I could expect a welcoming and stimulating conversation (and a few laughs). Both your Mom and Dad always treated me with the greatest respect. something I have not forgotten despite the passage of time.
